Seamless Specialty Flooring For Commercial and Industrial Buildings

Places like supermarkets, tennis courts, schools, offices, and many other commercial buildings need flooring that’s strong, flexible, and easy to clean. This is where our specialty floors come in.

At Technicon Innovative Concrete Services, we have specialized crews who design and install these kinds of specialty floors. We start by determining what kind of specialty floors you need—whether it needs to be tough enough to withstand heavy loads or whether it should be soft and comfortable to walk on. For example, supermarket flooring is made to withstand harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products; freezer slab floors are explicitly designed for refrigerators and freezers. At the same time, tennis courts should be durable to prevent injuries. When we’re finished, we apply a protective finish that prevents stains and makes the floor look great.

We Apply Floor Hardener To Help Protect The Subfloor From Damage

Our expert uses Dry Shake Aggregate floor hardeners to improve the durability of a newly laid concrete floor and provide a more attractive appearance for the finished product. We apply this product to fresh concrete during or after freshly poured. The application process is often called “dry shaking” or “wet-shaking” because the dry shake aggregate floor hardener must be added to water before being mixed into the fresh concrete.

Once mixed, the hardener will dissolve and begin working its way through the concrete, reacting with the cement paste to form an impermeable layer that improves the strength and durability of the concrete. This layer also helps prevent dust from settling on the floor, making it easier to clean and maintain. It also helps prevent discoloration due to spilled liquids.

If there is anything we care about more than protecting your floors, it’s keeping them looking their best! Contact us for your specialty floor today!
