Cutting discs are available in abrasive or diamond varieties, and concrete cutters are available in both gasoline and electric versions. Diamond-impregnated discs are used to create the joints. While the cut made by this method is not as deep as the cut made by the traditional method, it does reach a maximum depth of 32 mm (1 1/4 inch).
